How to Play Baccarat at betpkr 8 – Rules & Flow
Baccarat has a reputation as a complicated, high-roller game — but that reputation is completely undeserved. The rules are straightforward once you understand the card values and the drawing logic. Here is everything you need to know before sitting down at a betpkr 8 baccarat table.
Aces are worth 1 point. Cards 2 through 9 are worth face value. Tens, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 0 points. Hand totals only use the last digit — so a hand of 7 and 8 totals 15, but in baccarat its value is 5.
Before any cards are drawn, you place your bet on Banker, Player, or Tie (or any side bets available on the table). At betpkr 8, bets are placed in PKR — minimum Rs 200 on standard tables.
The dealer draws two cards face-up for the Player and two cards face-up for the Banker. Initial totals are calculated. If either hand totals 8 or 9 — a "Natural" — the round ends immediately and the higher total wins.
If no Natural has been dealt, fixed drawing rules determine whether a third card is drawn. Player draws a third card if their total is 0–5. The Banker drawing rule depends on the Banker's current total and whether the Player drew a third card — these rules are automatic and handled by the dealer.
